## College Football Star Medrick Burnett Jr. Found Dead After On-Campus Shooting
According to the Nashville Metropolitan Police Department, Burnett was shot and killed near a campus residence hall just after midnight on Wednesday. Police responded to reports of a gunshot and found Burnett lying on the ground with multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
